The 'Why" questions can cause us to embed even deeper into a problem. In therapy the question "why" is a product of the conscious mind. Whereas the solution lies in the unconscious mind. "Why" can interfere with the work of the unconscious mind. In business, probably two of the most powerful questions are: 1. For what purpose is this happening/taking place? 2. What will that achieve? Asking the foregoing two questions generally gets to the heart of the matter and in some circles may be unwelcome. Thanks for listening.
