You may be familiar with the saying, "You are what you eat". This was bandied about to highlight that good eating habits lead to having a good healthy weight.

Similarly, I would say that: "You are what you think."

Which thoughts populate your mind? OR more importantly which thoughts do you allow to populate your mind. Thoughts do not have a physical structure in that you cannot point to a thought as it doesn't have a body or a shape, in other words, it's not a thing. How much notice or weight we give a thought can be very influential on your positive or negative mental health.

You experience a thought, you entertain a thought. You run it in the theatre of your mind, on the stage there.  Depending on how much notice you give it or not,  it can consume your entire being.

Are the thoughts you are entertaining, and noticing, in your mind are they motivating you to be positive and life-enhancing or are they causing you stress and anxiety?

Remember you have a choice, choice as to whether you will allow the news media to populate your mind with the negativity it seems to push day after day.

Stand up for yourself. Feed your mind with good rich nourishing food (thoughts), I almost guarantee you, that you will thank yourself for doing so.
